# Error compiling bro-pub-0.8a58

Hello,

I'm running

bourque# uname -a  
FreeBSD [bourque.taosecurity.com](http://bourque.taosecurity.com) 4.9-RELEASE FreeBSD  
4.9-RELEASE #0: Mon Oct 27 17:51:09 GMT 2003  
root@freebsd-stable.sentex.ca:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC  
i386

I get this error after successfully running  
'configure':
