# Patches necessary to build Bro 0.9a9 on OpenBSD 3.8

Hello the following changes were necessary to build Bro on OpenBSD 3.8.

aux/hf slight change leaves the check for NEED\_NAMESER\_COMPAT\_H  
however ensures that NS\_MAXDNAME, NS\_INADDRSIZ and NS\_IN6ADDRSZ  
are defined (as OpenBSD lacks \<arpa/nameser\_compat.h\> and the above are not defined in \<arpa/nameser.h\> .
