I’m not able to easily find documentation for prior versions of Bro. Specifically, I’m looking for 2.3.1. Is this available somewhere?

You can download any older version of Bro, build it
(./configure && make), and then build the documentation (make doc).
You can then browse the documentation with a web browser (it
is located in "build/html/"). There is a README in
the "doc/" directory with more info.
