Hi Zeek pro’s, I am Don Thomas and I oversee the Security Track for the Southern California Linux Expo (SCaLE). Our Expo has been growing and growing to where just before COVID our attendance grew to 3500 people. SCaLE is a 100% volunteer conference. I have been leading the Security track for the past 10 or so years… and for the past conferences I have been trying to highlight certain security technologies. For the next Conference, SCaLE 20x I would like to highlight Zeek and would like to invite someone from your team to present at our Security Track. All I am looking for is an overview of Zeek, what it can be used for and some advanced things that you guys are doing. The talk would be about 45 minutes. In the past we had presentations from the RITA Developers at Black Hills Information Security and Doug Burks from Security Onion.
