# Zeek 4.0.0 RC2 available

Zeek 4.0.0 RC2 is now available:

Most differences from RC1 can be found in the CHANGES files:

There is also a notable change in Broker that attempts to resolve a  
fundamental issue with its internal design/architecture that has  
potential to cause deadlocks in Zeek clusters, although that's never  
been reported in practice.
