## Minutes

LT chair election:

- Postponed to next meeting, due to attendance

Zeek benefits corporation:

- For background on the benefits corporation, [see these previous meeting notes](https://github.com/zeek/zeek/wiki/LT-Meeting-Notes-2023%E2%80%9004%E2%80%9005).
- There has been some communication with the lawyers about this, it is still being worked on.

Kelley Misata leaving Corelight:

- The LT had a short discussion about the effect of Kelley leaving Corelight. This focused on how communication with Corelight will be structured in the future.
- The LT also spent some time reviewing changes to the website that Kelley had been working on.

Goals for next year:

- The LT discussed which goals we should set ourselves for new year
- The main topic that was identified is that the package ecosystem is important, and that we should do some work to get the website there.
- Other ideas were:
  - Perhaps have a beginner pack of good packages to start?
  - Give an idea of the performance impact of packages (hard to do)
  - Provide a curation process for packages?
  - Smoke testing of packages
