It’s our pleasure to announce a [new series of Zeek Webinars](https://zeek.org/events/webinars/). The webinars will start on August 21st, 10 am Pacific Time and follow a roughly bi-weekly schedule, coinciding with the timeslot that we host our community calls in.

The webinars will feature the talks that were planned for the [cancelled Zeek Week 2024](https://zeek.org/2024/06/28/cancellation-of-zeekweek-2024/).

The talks will be typically around 30 minutes in length, followed by a Q&A session. We will host out talks on Zoom, and plan to live-broadcast them to YouTube. We will also post recordings of the talks to our YouTube channel.

The current schedule of talks is (all talks at 10am Pacific, otherwise noted):

**2024-08-21** : Zeek Roadmap, with Christian Kreibich (Corelight, Zeek Project Technical lead)

**2024-10-30:** Automated Zeek Builds and Adventures with the Management Framework (Dop, ESNet)

**2024-11-13:** What’s in a Name – Hiding in Plain Sight (Brian Olson, Meta)

**2024-11-27:** Parsnip: Lowering the Barrier of Entry for Parser Development (Melanie Pierce, Idaho National Laboratory)

**2024-12-11:** Zeek File Extraction and Automating Malware Analysis (Seth Grover, Idaho National Lab representing DHS CISA)
