When starting the Bro service, an error stating that Bro terminated immediately after start-up continually appears. The following is the info I am provided upon running the diag command.
It sounds like you don’t have an IPv4 address assigned to the interface on your RHEL/CentOS/Oracle Linux box. I’ve solved this in the past by using “IPADDR=0.0.0.0” and “NETMASK=255.255.255.255” in the /etc/sysconfig/networking-scripts/ifcfg-eth file.
Does that fix the issue?

That doesn’t seem to fix the issue I’m still getting the error.
