Can Zeek detect ransomware, DDoS, and DoS attacks?

Hi,

I have backed up data using rsync on a Linux system. Can Zeek detect ransomware in the backed-up data (e.g., /opt/backup/db.tar.gz)?

Also, can Zeek detect DDoS and DoS types of attacks? Please guide me.
