I am not getting the report on my email id

hello sir,
As i set my email id on $BROHOME/etc/bro.cfg
log files are created but I am not getting the report on my id. so just unable to do the analysis part of the report. I am also unable to know how can I understand the particular attack by seeing the report. Is there any link which can describe “how to detect attack??”

Does sending email through the command line "sendmail" program work on your computer? That's how Bro sends email and it needs to be configured correctly.
