Just wondering if anyone has tryed to use Bro on an openflow-based
network using mininet?

Hi Daniel,
I am not aware of anyone doing that. I am not sure if that might be of
interest - but if you ever set this up note that Bro has (limited) support
to interact with OpenFlow devices through NetControl.
