Bro and GeoIP support

Hello:

I know that Bro has support for MaxMind's Legacy GeoIP database, which it automatically builds support for if the libgeoip library is installed. Is that also true for the newer mmdb database?

If not, what's the process of getting Bro to support the mmdb database?
