I have bro installed on FreeBSD 5.2.1. This release of FreeBSD uses the device file system devfs(5) to create /dev/bpfxx devices on demand. The problem is when these devices are created, root owns the new device. Bro running as 'bro' can't access it.
I guess a fix is to run bro as root. Any other ideas?
