Bro-simple-scan test_port_scan.zeek Failing

Hi,

Running:

  • zeek-7.0.5
  • almalinux-9.5
  • bro-simple-scan-3e7802f

The package test tests/test_port_scan.zeek fails as no notice.log is created. I only saw this now when posting that there is a PR Fix failing btest with Zeek 6 by pbcullen · Pull Request #13 · ncsa/bro-simple-scan · GitHub submitted Oct 17 2023.

I can confirm the same fix works for zeek-7.0.5. It seems there is no activity for bro-simple-scan on GitHub.

So the test passes but is it neccessary to make any further changes to Zeek?
