Zeek event at CERN
We will have a workshop at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland on March 25-26th 2026. Planning for this is proceeding and we will have more information forthcoming soon.
Encouraging more community driven content from the Zeek user-side
User stories are very helpful, both for the Zeek project itself and the community. We discussed how to enable this, how to platform user-stories better, and what kind of content community members could share about using Zeek.
Topic ideas included:
- What kind of hardware is used
- Threat-hunting tips
- Anything that shows how and what people are using Zeek for
Look back at threads on Slack, and see if some of them would make sense to cnvert into videos/text-posts, etc.
This has the additional advantage of highlighting interesting conversations on Slack – content there is hard to search for and can easily get lost.
We also had a short discussion about what motivates people to contribute to a community in general, and to the Zeek community in specific.
