Zeek Week
The LT started the discussion with a recap of the current Zeek Week situation. We are currently still missing a little bit of pricing information, specifically the pricing for video recordings of the talks. Once we have the information, we can make sure that we can finance Zeek Week – the by far most likely sponsor for it is Corelight.
The call for presentations is ready – and will go life in the next couple of weeks. We are currently planning to have 20 to 25-minute sessions, which will allow us to have around 10 talks per day.
Zeek Team
As noted in the last meeting notes, the “Zeek Team member” project role is essentially defunct, and no longer makes sense in the current project structures. We examined our Technical Projects & Roles description and will update this description. As noted in the past, we will also introduce a new Slack channel – we will announce this when it happens.
RACI matrix
The LT used the remaining time in the meeting to look at the responsibility assignment matrix which makes it clear who in the project does which work. We are nearly done with this matrix, and will present it in one (or several) blog posts in the next couple of weeks.
